A fatal shooting that occurred early on Sunday morning in San Jose is still being investigated by the police. Officers got many reports alerting them to a shooting that had occurred at a business located in the 900 block of McLaughlin Avenue at approximately 3:18 a.m.
An individual who had been shot at least once was discovered by the police when they arrived on the scene. He was sent to the hospital, but he was unable to recover from his injuries and passed away there.
It is uncertain who the culprit is, and they escaped the area before the police arrived. The investigation is looking at the circumstances surrounding the homicide as well as the motive behind it.
It is being concealed that the identity of the victim is being suppressed until his next of kin has been notified.
In 2024, this is the 20th homicide that has occurred in San Jose, according to the police.
