A Georgia man died after jumping out of a moving automobile driven by his fiancé, according to investigators.

The body of Daryl Thompson, 37, was discovered asleep on the southbound shoulder of I-75 in Monroe County, Georgia, on August 3, according to WMAZ-TV and The Monroe County/Macon Reporter.

He was pronounced dead in the hospital. The particular cause of death was not divulged.

According to Sheriff Brad Freeman, Thompson sprang out of the car while driving down the interstate at 70 mph during an argument with his fiancé. According to the woman, Thompson had previously leaped out of a moving vehicle.

Authorities have not suspected foul play, according to The Telegraph.

“It was the most difficult goodbye I’ve ever had to say as your life support was terminated. I hope you can hear my voice as you pass away in peace and affection. You were my fiancé, best friend, romantic partner, and father. “The pain is immeasurable,” his fiancé, named only as Iman, said in a GoFundMe campaign description.

“He was one-of-a-kind, and there is no one like him. “I’m going to miss you so much, Andrew, and everything we take for granted,” she wrote.

Thompson, according to the fundraiser, leaves a daughter named Emersyn.

He donated his organs before his family took him off life support.
