A man from California was taken into custody following a domestic violence shooting that occurred on Wednesday night; he had already murdered his wife, son, and in-laws.

According to records from the Alameda County Jail, 54-year-old Shane Parrish Killian is facing numerous counts, one of which is first-degree murder.

An individual contacted the Alameda Police Department on Wednesday night to report that their neighbor had been shot. While officers were clearing the house, they discovered a victim and multiple more.

According to Sarah Henry, a spokesperson for the Alameda Police Department, four individuals lost their lives at the scene of the crime: the shooter’s wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and 6-year-old kid. “A second young son was also shot and is in very critical condition.”

Tragically, a 6-year-old child lost his life, and Killian’s 1-year-old son is currently in a serious condition.

According to Alameda Police Chief Nishant Joshi, who spoke with Fox San Francisco, detectives discovered “multiple firearms and significant evidence” that implicated the husband.

No reason for the killings has been revealed by the authorities.

The Santa Rita Jail has taken Killian into custody and is currently holding him without bail.
