LARNED, Kan. – The county attorney for a county in central Kansas has announced that a suspect in an investigation into sexual assault has turned himself in and is now facing charges.
Avian Rincones, 34 years old, of Great Bend, willingly handed himself up to the sheriff’s office on Wednesday, according to Pawnee County Attorney Douglas McNett.
The authorities informed his legal guardian that charges had been filed against him, and a warrant for his arrest without release was issued. A total of three offenses have been brought against Rincones, including one case of aggravated indecent liberties with a minor and two counts of aggravated criminal oral sodomy of a kid under the age of fourteen.

The Larned Swimming Pool was the location where the event took place, according to the Larned Police Department. Even though Rincones was questioned at the scene, no arrest was made at that time since there were questions about the suspect’s mental ability.
Following the conclusion of the investigation conducted by the police department, the matter was handed up to the office of the county attorney.
Depending on the age of the claimed victim, Rincones is subject to a mandatory term ranging from 25 years to life under the sentencing provisions of Jessica’s Law, if he is found guilty. A further consequence would be that he would be required to register as a sexual offender.
