Husband and Teen Found Dead in San Bernardino Stabbing; Suspect Carolyn Jackson Taken Into Custody

A woman has been taken into custody in connection with the stabbing deaths of her husband and a teenager in San Bernardino County.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department identified the suspect as Carolyn Jackson, 44, of Needles.

On December 5, just before 5 a.m., officials responded to allegations of a stabbing at a home on the 200 Block of Walnut Street in Needles.

Arriving deputies located two casualties inside the home: Bryan Jackson, 48, and an unidentified 16-year-old kid.

Bryan was found with several stab wounds. Despite life-saving operations, he was pronounced dead on the scene. The sixteen-year-old was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Carolyn, Bryan’s wife, was named by detectives as the primary suspect in the killing. She was found nearby and arrested on allegations of murder and attempted murder.

The motivation for the fatal stabbing remains unknown. Detectives have not confirmed the teen’s relationship with the couple. Carolyn was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and is being held without bond.

The coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy on Bryan to determine the official cause of death.
