HOUSTON – A man from Houston was found guilty of possessing a restricted narcotic to supply it, and he was sentenced to five years in jail.
On Thursday, Adam Briggs made an appearance in court, where he entered a guilty plea to the charge. According to the records filed with the court, he will be sentenced to five years of incarceration at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

In addition, Briggs was accused of providing fentanyl to a young woman called Honor Wallace in the year 2022. Wallace passed away as a consequence of an overdose caused by fentanyl.
Documents filed in court say that Wallace was found dead on the floor of her apartment after receiving the chemical from Briggs. Her parents discovered her body.

According to the documents, that lawsuit was thrown out.
