Girl, 11, kidnapped in Indiana found at Wisconsin gas station

An 11-year-old girl who had been taken in Wells County, Indiana, was discovered at a Kwik Trip convenience store and gas station in Wisconsin.

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office reported to the Iowa County Communications Center that a vehicle at a petrol station in Barneveld was the same vehicle involved in the Indiana Silver Alert for the kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl.

After exiting the convenience shop, the vehicle was discovered driving south on US Highway 151. The Dodgeville Police Department and the ICSO both initiated a traffic stop.

Police securely retrieved the child from the vehicle. Three adults were detained:

  • Edgemont resident Zachary Delozier, 27. The state of South Dakota
  • Sara Gaudino, a 23-year-old Rapid City, South Dakota resident
  • Rapid City, South Dakota resident Isaiah Schryvers, 24,

All three people were wanted in Wells County for the kidnapping of a juvenile.

“As Iowa County Sheriff, I can’t thank everyone enough,” Sheriff Michael W. Peterson stated. “It’s an amazing feeling to be out there with this great group of professionals, watching all these agencies come together, quickly taking these three adults into custody, and removing this 11-year-old female from this situation so she can return to her family.” Thank you for making a difference in our neighborhoods.”
