- At the time of application, you are a resident of the City of Pomona and at least 18 years old.
- You are the parent or legal guardian of a child under four years old at the time of application.
- You belong to at least one of the following categories. experienced negative effects from the COVID-19 pandemic; your home address is in a Qualified Census Tract (QCT); you are currently receiving benefits such as Federal Pell Grants, Medicaid, or MediCal; Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP); or your household income is at or below 65 percent of AMI (Area Median Income).

Application Process to Qualify for the New Stimulus Payments in Pomona
A total of 600 qualifying applicants will be randomly selected to participate in the program and assigned to one of two groups. The paid group will consist of 250 eligible applicants. They will receive $500 in stimulus funds per month for 18 months. A control group of 350 more qualified persons will be chosen to participate. They will be given a $20 monthly allowance for the next eighteen months.
