CHARLOTTE – Two accidents on I-277’s outer loop injured four people on Sunday morning, according to medics.
Around 6 a.m., medics reported that three persons were transported with critical injuries following a crash near mile marker 3.
Around 8:15 a.m., one person was transported with significant injuries following a crash near exit 1E. Queen City News was at the site and witnessed an overturned automobile.

Officials have not disclosed what caused either wreck or whether any charges are pending.
According to NCDOT, both crashes have been cleared and are not affecting traffic for the Around the Crown 10K.
