Saturday night, at least one gunman opened fire inside a nightclub in Birmingham, Alabama, where a birthday party was being held. According to the police, the shooting resulted in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to several others.
Truman Fitzgerald, a spokesman for the Birmingham Police Department, stated in a video statement that officers responded to reports of persons being shot on 27th Street North at around 11:08 p.m. During the incident, Fitzgerald stated that a male was found dead on the pavement outside of the nightclub, two ladies were discovered dead inside the club, and a man who was carried to a hospital was pronounced dead there.

According to the police, ten additional individuals who had been shot were receiving medical treatment at the University of Alabama in Birmingham Hospital. Others arrived in their private vehicles, while others were transported there by the Birmingham Fire Department.
The police issued a statement in which they indicated that “at least one suspect drove by in a vehicle and fired shots from the street into the nightclub.”
On the other hand, authorities are attempting to ascertain whether or not the altercation that took place at the club is connected to the gunshot that took place.
