Prosecutors in Miami dropped computer hacking charges against a bikini model and her parents in connection with her boyfriend’s stabbing death in a fancy high-rise condominium.
Courtney Clenney, a 28-year-old OnlyFans model with nearly 2 million Instagram followers, has been in detention since August 2022 for allegedly stabbing her partner Christian Obumseli, 27, in the heart. The killing was initially attributed to self-defense, but authorities dug deeper after Obumseli’s family expressed concerns.
After scrutinizing conversations between Clenney’s father and her defense team, prosecutors added computer hacking charges to her and her parents’ cases.
However, those accusations were withdrawn after the judge decided that the prosecution’s use of the messages breached attorney-client privilege.
Jude Faccidomo, the Clenney family’s defense attorney in the hacking case, stated that the Miami State Attorney’s Office should recuse itself from the case after reviewing the papers because it involved a private defense strategy with Courtney Clenney’s other lawyers.

Kim Clenney, 60, and Deborah Clenney, 57, are her parents.
The parents are accused of discussing PIN and password alternatives in a group text with four of their daughter’s lawyers: Frank Prieto, Sabrina Puglisi, Manuel Recio, and Pamela Corvalan, who reportedly received the login information from the jailed murder suspect.
Prieto and his staff did not reply to demands for comment Friday.
“Will you be sending the laptop PIN ideas so we can try them before you see her again?” Kim Clenney wrote to the organization on September 26, 2022, according to a warrant for his arrest in Texas.
“Good evening, folks. “I have a couple that I can send you tomorrow,” Prieto answered. Four days later, the father replied, “Hell yeah!” “That PIN worked!”

Prieto earlier told Fox News Digital that there was “clear evidence of self-defense” and that Obumseli choked Clenney shortly before the stabbing.
“Courtney had no choice but to meet force with force,” he told me.
Friends told Fox News Digital that the pair had a stormy relationship. Although they stated Clenney was frequently the aggressor. Even though she requested a restraining order against Obumseli before his murder, recordings have emerged of her screaming at him, striking him, and using racial insults.
They met during a trip to Tulum, Mexico, and started dating after returning to the United States. They moved from Austin, Texas, to Miami, where Clenney continued her OnlyFans modeling career while Obumseli traded cryptocurrencies and became her manager.
Clenney yelled at and repeatedly struck Obumseli in a February 2022 video shot during a trip to Aspen, Colorado, which was made public in January.
She blamed Obumseli for her drinking, telling him he was “fired” and demanding that he leave. She also accused him of wasting her money and flirting with other women. Less than two months later, she allegedly stabbed him to death.
Lawyers for Obumseli’s family claim that a long trail of evidence reveals Clenney was the manipulative abuser with a history of domestic violence, not him.
Fox News Digital got exclusive photographs revealing that she had blood on her arm and bandaged fingers on her right hand at a later photo shoot on the same trip.
According to a common buddy, Obumseli arrived at another point during the trip with a fresh stitch on his face.
“Christian was a very large guy, and he could’ve easily done damage if he wanted to, but he never fought back,” a buddy told Fox News. “He always would just take the abuse from her, and the video shows everything.”
Obumseli’s family is suing the building manager of the upscale condo where the couple lived, as well as the security service that reportedly stood outside the couple’s unit and did nothing while the stabbing occurred, according to Obumseli family attorney Kimberly Wald.
The family has also filed a lawsuit against Clenney.
She is charged with second-degree murder for her boyfriend’s death.
