A man from the state of Florida has made his second appearance in court in connection with the homicide of a woman and her innocent child. This Monday, the guy who is accused of stabbing his mother and killing his kid, who was two years old, appeared in court for a second competency hearing.
As a result of a judge’s determination that Thomas Mosley was not able to stand trial, he was required to spend six months in the state hospital before making his appearance in court. Dr. Theresa L. Ascheman, on the other hand, evaluated the accused and in her testimony stated that he was fit to stand trial.
Since the year 2019, Mosley has made three attempts to take his own life. The most recent time was in 2023, just prior to his arrest for the killings that he had committed. in the month of March 2023 in the city of St. Petersburg, Florida, is accused of stabbing Pashun Jeffery more than one hundred times. It was discovered that she had been stabbed inside of her residence.
Around the same time, Taylen, who was two years old at the time, was discovered in a lake adjacent to the residence of Mosley’s mother. According to the authorities, the evidence indicates that Mosley was present at both of the crime scenes.
During their appearance in court, members of Jeffery and Taylen’s family wore t-shirts that included photographs of the victims. This information was disclosed in court by Dr. Theresa L. Ascheman Jones, who stated that Mosley was taking anti-psychotic medication as well as medication for anxiety and depression when he was at the facility.
There were reports that he was experiencing hallucinations. On the other hand, she stated that he was displaying a rational disposition and was able to articulate his requirements.
