A guy from Boca Raton has been charged with violating the Florida Hate Crime Statute for allegedly uttering antisemitic threats. The charges were brought by the State Attorney for Palm Beach County.

Paul Morris, age 26, was taken into custody by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) on June 14. The PBSO accused him of sending antisemitic remarks on social media and threatening to carry out a mass massacre at a synagogue.

According to the affidavit that was used to make the arrest, Morris had posted a remark on Instagram that read, “I want Hitler to come back to kill all the Jews.”

According to the documents filed with the court, Morris entered a plea of not guilty on June 27 to the charges of making written threats to perform a mass shooting or threat of terrorism.
