FIVE INJURED, INCLUDING TEENS, in Shooting at Atlanta Neighborhood Party

ATLANTA – Multiple people, including teenagers, were shot as they were leaving a neighborhood party in the southwest portion of Atlanta, according to police.

It was just after ten o’clock on Saturday night when officers from the Austin Police Department responded to Richardson Street. According to the authorities, there were a total of five people who were shot, and all of them were taken to Grady Hospital.

One of the casualties was a woman who was 29 years old and was in severe condition due to her injuries. Other victims include a girl who is 17 years old, a woman who is 33 years old, a boy who is 16 years old, and a boy who is 15 years old. According to the police, all of the victims are in stable condition.

A neighborhood party was taking place at a nearby park throughout the day and into the evening, according to the officers who responded to the scene. It was reported that shots were fired toward the conclusion of the event.

There were also officers present at the park, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

The authorities have not been able to identify a suspect or determine the reason for the shooting at this time.

Around the block from the event that occurred on Saturday, the Atlanta Police Department responded to a complaint about a person who had been shot on Thursday. The woman, who was 32 years old and had been shot, was found by the police on Fulton Street. She was rushed to the hospital in severe condition after being admitted there.

They do not believe that these two instances are connected at this time, according to the police.
