FRESNO, Calif.- A father, his two kids, and two other young men were arrested after a shooting at a Fresno home and vehicle in early August, according to police.
On August 9, police responded to reports of shots fired at Knoll Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
According to officials, while responding, officers noticed a car driving erratically away from the site.
Officers pursued the vehicle, and the occupants began throwing various firearms from it, according to authorities. A pursuit immobilization technique (PIT) was permitted and carried out safely in the vicinity of Clinton Avenue and Cornelia Avenue.
As the truck stopped, officials claim many individuals fled from officers. All five occupants were apprehended and arrested.
The suspects’ identities have not yet been published, but investigators believe four of them are 19 years old. The exception is the driver, who was discovered to be the father of two of the suspects.
During the investigation, cops and detectives said they discovered over 50 spent shot casings in front of the victim’s home.
According to officials, the residence and vehicle were hit several times. Fortunately, no one was hit by gunfire or harmed during the incident.
Members of the Northwest District Safety Team apprehended him.
