Another cold front is keeping the chill in place as we head into tonight. Tonight’s lows will reach 30-33° north shore and mid-40s south.
Another night of frost and a mild freeze is expected north of Lake Pontchartrain on Wednesday morning.
During the day on Wednesday, temperatures and moisture will rise, with a few showers forming late Wednesday evening.
Expect increased rain coverage overnight and Thursday, with a few stronger storms.
Rain is expected to roll into southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast during morning rush hour on Thursday, so prepare accordingly.
The next front moves through late Thursday, bringing the cold back on Friday. Looking ahead to the weekend, we may expect a small warmup with scattered showers beginning late Saturday.
