A father walking with his child fatally stabbed a man accused of accosting them, according to California authorities.
Officers responded to complaints of unknown problems in Beverly Hills at 2:51 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, according to a news release.
According to authorities, a man confronted a father who was strolling with his child on a sidewalk.
Sommer Janssen, a witness, told KABC that a father and mother were walking with their little daughter when a man attempted to seize her, and the father fought him off.
During the altercation, the father stabbed the suspected attacker, who died in the hospital, according to authorities. The father was also harmed during the brawl.
According to Sacbee, the initial police reports on the incident did not specify which of the two males perished.
