Fatal Turlock Crash Claims Four Lives, Leaves Two in Critical Condition

According to the California Highway Patrol, a collision that occurred on Sunday in Turlock resulted in the deaths of four people and forced two others to seek medical attention.

An Infiniti driven by a 22-year-old guy from Modesto was reportedly traveling at an excessive speed on northbound Highway 165 at approximately 9:25 in the morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. As the man approached Greenway Avenue, he became involved in a collision with a Jeep SUV that was stopped at a stop sign.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the Jeep, a 44-year-old man, was about to cross the intersection heading westbound on Greenway when the Infiniti broadsided the Jeep.

The driver of the Infiniti was not wearing a seatbelt, and according to the California Highway Patrol, he passed away. Both the driver of the Jeep and his front-seat passenger, a woman from Turlock who was 45 years old, were pronounced dead at the site of the accident.

A girl who was 16 years old and was sitting in the backseat of the Jeep was taken to the hospital, but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Both the mother, who is 19 years old, and the son, who is 14 years old, are from Turlock, and they are both in critical condition at the hospital.

According to the California Highway Patrol, all of the passengers in the Jeep were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision.

Jennifer Lourenco, a teacher at the Ceres Unified School District, was identified as the individual who passed away as a result of the accident, according to the district.
