NORTH LAS VEGAS – The police are requesting assistance in locating a Jeep that was involved in a hit-and-run accident that resulted in a fatality earlier this year.

Following a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the vicinity of Losee and Craig roads on Saturday, March 16, the North Las Vegas Police Department arrived at the scene just before 2:30 a.m. After arriving on the scene, the cops discovered a male who was suffering from severe injuries.

Ultimately, the guy, who was named Enrique Zuniga Jr., who was 51 years old, was pronounced dead at the site of the accident.

Zuniga was reportedly walking south on Losee while pulling a shopping cart in the street when he was struck by a Jeep that was traveling north on Losee, according to the police records.

According to witnesses and security footage from the area, the Jeep pulled over close to the scene of the accident, but it later fled shortly after it had stopped.

The Jeep may be a two-door Wrangler model that is either red or maroon, according to officials.

Since this inquiry is still underway, there is no more information available.
