Fairfield Police Arrest Man Accused of AX ATTACK ON PARKED CARS, No Injuries Reported

According to the police, a guy was taken into custody in Fairfield early on Wednesday morning after he reportedly used an ax to cause damage to many automobiles that were parked in a parking lot.

Wednesday morning at around 3:50 a.m., the incident occurred in the 500 block of Creekside Drive. According to the police, policemen from Fairfield came to the parking lot and immediately took Jayson Joseph, who is 27 years old, into custody.

There were no reports of injuries resulting from the event. According to the authorities, the event caused damage to around six to eight vehicles.

Joseph was taken into custody and charged with felony assault, aggravated threatening, criminal trespassing, and causing fear. He was transferred to the Butler County Jail immediately after the incident.

On August 29, Joseph is scheduled to make his subsequent court appearance in the Fairfield Municipal Court.
