FAIRFIELD, Calif. – In Fairfield, a man was taken into custody for making terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to shoot pupils who were walking to school.
While they were walking to school on Tuesday morning, four kids reported to the school resource officer at Grange Middle School that they had been threatened with a gun by a guy. This information was provided by the Fairfield Police Department.
In front of the school, officers discovered the culprit, Ronnie Grisham, who was 51 years old. He was driving in the same vehicle and wearing the same outfit that the children had described.
On suspicion of four counts of terroristic threats and one count of refusing or obstructing a peace officer, Grisham was taken into custody and put at the police station.
Regarding threats, particularly those directed at minors, the police department has stated that it has zero tolerance.
“We are so thankful that these young people knew exactly what to do and who to trust in this situation, and we value our partnership with the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District that made such a swift responsible decision possible,” the Fairfield Police Department wrote in a statement for the media.
