DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – On Thursday evening, a man was found to have been stabbed numerous times by an assailant armed with a machete or sword in the downtown area of Los Angeles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At approximately eleven o’clock at night, officers arrived at South Los Angeles Street near 6th Street after receiving reports of a male who was lying down with a stab wound.

A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department stated that a guy was discovered on the street with what were described as multiple slash wounds. The man, who has not been officially recognized, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
The victim looked to have been sliced with either a machete or a sword, according to what the investigators found.
It was not obvious what prompted the stabbing, nor was it known whether there had been any kind of conflict that occurred before the crime.
The culprit, who was only identified as a Black male, reportedly left in an unknown direction, according to the police.
