On Tuesday afternoon, authorities reported that a body was found on the far northeast edge of the peninsula, close to Converse, Texas.
Around four o’clock in the afternoon, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of an injured and sick adult who was located at the intersection of FM 78 and Beech Trail Drive.
In the stream bed behind a Jack in the Box restaurant, deputies discovered the body of a guy when they arrived on the scene.
Due to the body’s state of decomposition, the deputies initially stated that it was unclear whether there was any trauma to the body. However, they later stated that there was nothing to indicate that there was any kind of foul play.

Sheriff Javier Salazar stated that a passerby had observed the man lying on the ground, but that the passerby was not very concerned about the situation because there was a homeless encampment very close by.
After some time had passed, they went back and discovered that the body was still there. They then contacted the authorities.
Allan Scott Arnold, 41 years old, was recognized as the deceased by the medical examiner. Arnold was from Mississippi.
