In Colorado Springs, the Sachs Foundation has made the announcement that it has provided more than $1.7 million in scholarships and other forms of help to fifty Black students in the state of Colorado throughout the course of the previous educational year.
The foundation emphasized the significance of its investments during the yearly celebration of its scholarship recipients and their academic accomplishments. This was done in light of the fact that all around the country, racial educational equity programs are being repealed.
The foundation has been providing assistance to Black Coloradans for more than 45 million dollars and more than 3,200 scholarships since its creation in 1931. Additionally, it has funded educational and community projects to help Black Coloradans.
The CEO of the Sachs Foundation, Ben Ralston, stated that the accomplishment of this remarkable group of scholars illustrates the significance of investing in the talent and quality of Black people. Over the course of ninety-three years, we have made a commitment to provide assistance to Black students in the state of Colorado.
We are committed to continuing our efforts to dismantle established power structures, to close the economic gap between different racial groups, and to give our students the ability to achieve their educational aspirations without the burden of historical inequalities hindering them.
