SAN FRANCISCO– Police say the person who hit a city worker in San Francisco on Thursday was driving a wanted car. The worker is in the hospital.
Around 4 p.m., the crime took place near Eighth and Missions streets.
The cops in San Francisco said they saw a car that was wanted for a crime. Before the cops could even try to pull the driver over, they sped off and hit a city worker.
Stephanie was working nearby when the accident took place. She didn’t want NBC Bay Area to see her face, but she said she ran outside to see what was going on.
“Know what I mean? It’s really scary. I knelt and looked at the person who flew out of the car. “He did talk a little, though,” she said.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that could kill them. They didn’t say anything else about what happened, but they are still looking for the driver who ran away.
The San Francisco cops want anyone who knows something to call them.
