Walter Walker, 51, of Cincinnati died in a car accident in Evendale yesterday. Today, there were several accidents involving multiple vehicles on Glendale Milford Road near Interstate 75.

WLWT says that Walker, who was going west, hit several cars before swerving over the centerline and hitting a semi-tractor going east.

The accident happened around 1:30 p.m., and when police arrived, they found Walker not responding. He was later pronounced dead at Bethesda North Hospital. While the police continue to try to figure out what happened, there has been talk that Walker may have been having a medical emergency that caused the terrible events on that stretch of road. Drugs and alcohol have not been ruled out as possible causes of the crash.

In their message to the media, the Evendale Police Department said that so far, no one else has been hurt.

WCPO talks about what happened after the accident by using the coroner’s report to identify Walker and the timeline given by local police.

In addition to the ongoing investigation into what caused the accident, FOX19’s report refers to a press release from Evendale Police Chief Tim Holloway that suggests the possibility of a medical emergency is being actively considered. This paints a picture of a sudden health-related event possibly leading to the multi-vehicle crash that has now ended with one death.
