The Chicago Fire Department reported that a person was badly hurt in a shooting at a North Side CTA Red Line stop on Tuesday night.
According to CFD, the gunshot occurred in the Rogers Park neighborhood, near the Howard station on North Paulina Street. An adult was shot and rushed to St. Francis Hospital in serious condition shortly after 9 p.m., according to CFD.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear.
Authorities did not immediately release any information on the shooting.
