BRUTAL STABBING AT LAKE ELSINORE WALMART: Woman Murdered in Superstore While Bystanders Watch in Horror

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is looking into the murder of a woman who was viciously stabbed to death inside a Walmart Supercenter on Monday morning.

Deputies arrived at the shop on the 29000 block of Central Avenue in Lake Elsinore at 7 a.m. to investigate an assault with a deadly weapon.

A witness reported to authorities that a Black man stabbed a female on the spot. The suspect is currently in custody.

The victim was given medical help, but she was pronounced dead. According to the sheriff’s office, the victim worked at Walmart. However, no other information regarding the suspect or victim, including identities, is known at this time.

Newsweek also contacted both the Walmart site and the national offices. An employee at the Lake Elsinore store told Newsweek that new information would be supplied when it became available. And headquarters issued a statement.

“We’re heartbroken by what’s happened at our Lake Elsinore store,” Walmart headquarters told Newsweek. “The facility will stay closed while we engage with police on their investigation. We extend our condolences and support to the family during this difficult time, and we will continue to work with our associates to assist as needed.”

The Walmart Supercenter is located in a typical suburban shopping area on Central Avenue, which has six lanes. The plaza features a Cane’s Chicken restaurant, a Taco Bell, and an AutoZone. Across Central Avenue is a comparable shopping mall with a Lowe’s and a plethora of restaurants and stores along the busy route.
