A man who is 36 years old has been charged with the murder of a young mother who was discovered dead in Alabama after she had left rehabilitation.
Michael Wade Tucker, who is 36 years old, was charged with murder in connection with the death of Laci Whitson, who was 21 years old. It has been reported by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office that Tucker was the last individual who was known to be with Whitson.
During the previous week, Whitson was reported missing after he left a rehabilitation center located in Lauderdale County, Alabama. As a result of her loved ones not receiving any communication from her, they became concerned and raised the alarm.

According to the report, the remains of Whitson were discovered on Sunday with a blanket wrapped around them and dumped in the woods of Fayette County.
According to Sheriff Byron Yerby, “This is a tragedy for our community, and we have families that are hurting,” he added. “We ask that you remember these families in your prayers,” the statement read. We are deeply sorry for the loss of Laci Whitson and have extended our sympathies to her family.
As of yet, the police have not disclosed the reason for the homicide.
Facebook and other social media platforms were flooded with messages of condolence and support for the young mother.
What Wendy Whitson Dawkins wrote on Facebook was, “Everyone PLEASE pray for my Cousin Larry Whitson, as the loss of a baby in this manner is just not right for a parent” as per independent.

To assist Whitson’s family, an internet fundraising campaign has been initiated. Her funeral is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
