This week, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is holding several job fairs in and around Austin post offices, the USPS said in a news release on Monday.
People are being hired by the USPS in the Texas 3 District, which covers Austin, El Paso, and San Antonio.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, there will be job fairs all over the country, and postal workers will be at each one to help people with the application process. USPS said that starting pay is between $18.62 and $20.48 an hour and is paid every two weeks.
