Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has responded to those who have sought to silence her speech by stating that her book-signing event will go ahead as planned, despite an initial cancelation by the chosen venue.
“The Communist Democrats tried to shut down my book signing,” Greene said in a video message. “They lost!” Her venomous statements were a direct reaction to the Westgate Resort’s last-minute rejection to host the event, citing a lack of understanding about its purpose.
In another post, she referred to the cancellation of her event as “modern-day book burning!”
Greene’s thoughts were echoed by Osceola County GOP Committee head Mark Cross, who was in charge of the event. “While some in the media have stated the event has been canceled, that is false,” he told reporters. “The show must go on, and we are looking forward to welcoming Marjorie Taylor Greene to Orlando tomorrow.”
The fake news NYT has not told the truth yet again and is playing lap dog for Democrats!
The Democrats “defending” democracy have waged an all out campaign attacking venues to cancel my book signing and free speech.

The criticism surrounding the event appears to have further spurred the drive to see it through. However, this is not universally held. Greene and the GOP were chastised by Florida state Rep. Anna Eskamani (D) for celebrating the violent insurgency of January 6th.
“Just another day in Florida where the local Republican Party in Osceola County is hosting an ‘anniversary’ event to mark January 6th and Marjorie Taylor Green is the ‘special’ guest,” Eskamani wrote in a Facebook post. “Was really hoping this was a joke when I first saw it.”
