A multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday evening in the Sawtelle district of Los Angeles resulted in the death of at least one person and the injury of two others.

At 8:12 p.m., officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a collision that had occurred at the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Olympic Boulevard.

Several vehicles, including a sedan that had slammed onto a huge tree in the center median and an SUV that had flipped over, were shown to have suffered substantial damage in the footage that was captured by the cellphones of witnesses.
