On Tuesday afternoon, a violent pit bull attacked and killed a young girl who was living with her family in New Jersey. The incident occurred inside the home of the family.
Officials and reports indicate that the bloodthirsty dog went after the 18-month-old girl inside the residence on Second Avenue in Newark. The girl had wandered away from the adolescent who was responsible for babysitting her at the time.
After suffering “horrific and serious injuries from an apparent canine attack,” the prosecution’s office in Essex County stated that the child was taken to University Hospital, where she ultimately passed away as a result of her injuries.
This pit bull, along with another, was removed from the residence by Animal Control.

According to ABC 7, an investigation is already underway to determine whether or not the other dog contributed to the incident.
Following the brutal incident, the locals were left in a state of shock. During an interview with the station, a neighbor named Kawhon Jahyne stated, “They tell me today that these people have a baby that is 18 months old that was ripped apart by a pit bull or a ferocious dog.”
If someone were to experience that, it would be the most terrible thing that could ever happen to them in the world.
