JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said early Saturday that a man’s body was found next to a road in the McGirts Creek neighborhood on the west side of Jacksonville.
Police said they went to the area around 2 a.m. and found the guy dead next to the road on Ricker Road, where it meets Morse Avenue. The JSO said they don’t know what happened and that the case is still being looked into.

Police said they are working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to find out how the person died and if there was any foul play.
