A kid who was seven months old and died in Newark is the subject of an investigation by detectives, according to officials.
Following the information provided by Thomas Fennelly, chief assistant prosecutor of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Newark Police were dispatched to a residence in the vicinity of Avon Avenue and South 10th Street on Sunday evening in response to a report of an infant who was not paying attention.
According to Fennelly, the youngster was sent to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where it was determined that he had passed away before delivery.
According to the prosecutor, the results of an autopsy will be used to determine the cause of death as well as how the individual passed away.
Currently, the investigation is being handled by the Homicide Task Force of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
