JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that a man and a woman who were discovered dead in a house on Windrush Lane on Wednesday morning were victims of a murder-suicide.
It was approximately nine in the morning when officers arrived at the residence after they were informed that a man and a woman in their early 30s had been discovered dead by members of their family when they were doing a well-being check.
The man shot the woman before taking his own life, according to the investigators, who made this determination after speaking with members of the man’s family and evaluating the evidence.
The investigators did not describe the nature of the connection between the two.
The JSO has stated that the investigation is still ongoing, and the matter is currently awaiting classification.
