An investigation is now underway by the Oakland Police Department into a fatal shooting that took place on International Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place on the 2400 block of International Boulevard at approximately four o’clock in the afternoon.
As soon as the officers arrived, they discovered that there was one individual who had been shot. However, despite receiving medical assistance, they passed away at the scene.
Following the notification of the victim’s next of kin, the identity of the victim will be made public.
No information has been released by the police on a possible suspect.
