FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Police are investigating the alleged killing of Nilzuly Arneaud Petit, 33, who was shot and killed on Saturday, August 24.

According to the Farmers Branch Police Department, Petit was discovered dead by a passing car around 3:40 a.m. on the 1100 block of Valley View Lane.

According to police, several suspects forcibly took Petit and two juveniles from an apartment complex on Fair Oaks Crossing in Dallas at 12:30 a.m. According to authorities, the suspects drove Petit and the two minors to Farmers Branch, where they shot Petit before fleeing.

Lewisville police officers discovered the two children wandering down an I-35 service road unhurt.

The Farmers Branch Police Department stated that detectives are collaborating with the Dallas Police Department to identify the individuals and are following up on several leads.
