Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Loop 360/Capital of Texas Highway on Monday afternoon, prompting emergency personnel to hurry to the location.
According to KXAN, the incident occurred on the North Capital of Texas Highway near the southbound ramp for Research Boulevard. The event, which occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m., prompted a response from both Austin-Travis County EMS and Austin Fire Department.
The emergency workers on the site promptly assessed the victims and evacuated one patient, who was classified as a trauma alert with significant, potentially life-threatening injuries, to Dell Seton Medical Center.

Two more people were brought to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with minor injuries, and traffic delays are expected as a result of the crash in the neighborhood, according to ATCEMS.
The condition of the patient brought to Dell Seton with life-threatening injuries is unknown, and officials are withholding any details at this time.
The two other patients, who have entrusted their well-being to the personnel at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, will hopefully recover quickly from what have been classed as mild injuries.
