THREE DEAD, THREE INJURED in SIX-VEHICLE CRASH ON I-35 NEAR ARGYLE; Northbound Lanes Closed for Hours

ARGYLE – Friday evening, a six-vehicle collision occurred on northbound Interstate 35 near Crawford Road in Argyle. The accident resulted in the deaths of three persons and injuries to three others.

A collision that occurred at around 6:45 p.m. resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 for approximately five hours.

According to Argyle Police Chief Emmitt R. Jackson, at the site, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was performed on two patients, while six people were transported to hospitals in Denton, including the three patients who were pronounced dead.

It was not immediately possible to determine the identities of individuals who were injured or killed in the collision.

Research is being done to determine what caused the collision. The regional crash team, which comprises the Argyle police department and other local agencies, is the one that is carrying out the investigation, according to Jackson.
