TUCSON, Ariz.- The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office and Sierra Vista Police Department have issued a warning to those who may get a call from someone offering to sell tickets to Donald Trump’s border visit on Thursday, August 22.
According to law enforcement officials, the event is not accessible to the public, thus no tickets or parking passes are available for purchase.
Officials said homeowners have reported receiving calls from scammers “selling” tickets to the event.
The questionable caller informs you that tickets are available and may be purchased using a credit card. Trump is slated to arrive in Sierra Vista on Thursday morning, and access to the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport will be limited throughout his stay.
The Sierra Vista Police Department reminds citizens that they are not permitted to park on highways or anywhere that obstructs traffic, access to businesses, or side streets.
