DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies say that the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office arrested a guy on Wednesday for several drug crimes.

Police say that 35-year-old Fernandez Rakeem Lee is being charged with four counts of selling meth or cocaine base 28 grams or more but less than 100 grams.

Based on affidavits, a secret source bought meth from Lee in a controlled way on March 13, 2024, and June 12, 2024. Two types of equipment were worn by the informant: a wire and a video recorder.

The papers say that Lee sold the informant about 29 grams of meth in March and 56 grams of meth the following month.

Lee was taken to the Dorchester County Detention Center to be booked. The case is being looked into by the DEA Charleston field office, the Dorchester County Narcotics Unit, and the Summerville Police Metro Narcotics Unit.
