SAN ANTONIO – A man who is 70 years old has been charged with murder after it is alleged that he shot and killed another individual in the parking lot of a Walmart.
On Tuesday, Michael Wayne Ludwig, who is 70 years old, was charged with murder for allegedly shooting and killing a man at the Walmart parking lot located on the South Side, close to the intersection of SE Military Drive and Roosevelt Avenue.
First responders arrived at the location of the gunshot at approximately 6:50 a.m. on Monday, after receiving reports of the incident having occurred.
A man who was lifeless and suffering from several gunshot wounds was located by the police who came to the scene. At the scene, he was cited as having passed away.
Ludwig and a female witness were taken into custody forĀ interrogation, and they were taken to the headquarters of the police department to provide testimonies to the Homicide Unit.
Currently, the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
