LAKE CITY SHOOTING: Seattle Police Arrest 25-year-old Suspect After Woman Found Dead

SEATTLE – A fatal shooting that happened over the weekend in the Lake City district of Seattle is currently being investigated by the police.

A welfare check was requested to be performed at a residence located close to the intersection of 30th Avenue Northeast and NE 133rd Street at around 10:22 a.m. on Saturday. When firefighters from the Seattle Fire Department arrived at the residence, they discovered a woman who had passed away inside.

During the time that the detectives were processing the evidence and beginning their investigation, the area was cordoned off and the police were called to the scene.

The authorities have stated that they have not yet determined the cause of death of the woman; nevertheless, they have identified a man who is 25 years old as the suspect, and they currently believe that the occurrence was a homicide.

The individual was located and taken into custody by the police on Sunday. He was then placed in the King County Jail for an investigation into the homicide and assault that he committed.
