SAN ANTONIO- A man convicted of murdering a pregnant woman was sentenced to 50 years in jail following a plea deal. Michael Palafos has been charged with the 2023 murder of Allison Cevallos, a pregnant lady who died from a gunshot wound.
The incident occurred on October 20, 2024, at approximately 3:50 p.m., near Robeson Ave and Morningview St.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, authorities discovered Cevallos, 36, inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. She was 5 months pregnant.

Cevallos was brought to the hospital, but she died from her injuries; her pregnant child could not be saved.

Palafos stated that during a scuffle with Cevallos, he grabbed a 9mm handgun from a glove box, but it simply went off. According to police, he shifted her from the driver’s seat to the passenger’s seat before driving away.
Palafos was charged with capital murder and sentenced to 50 years in jail after pleading no contest.
