Scenes of a chaotic and violent incident that erupted rapidly Tuesday amid Dallas morning rush hour traffic were captured on camera.
According to reports, Angel Zamora Moreno, 26, of Plano, allegedly started a violent rampage on the LBJ Freeway by sideswiping many cars, stabbing a guy, hijacking multiple vehicles, and running down motorists.
“I’ve had some weird moments in my life. “Nothing like this,” said witness Johnathan McCain to local FOX 4. “This is gonna be something we all remember for the rest of our lives.”
According to an arrest warrant document obtained by FOX 4, the series of events began when Moreno allegedly collided with three cars and an 18-wheeler, causing his car to become immobilized. When the drivers stopped to inspect the damage, Moreno allegedly began attacking them with an 8-inch fix-blade knife he grabbed from his trunk.

“He got out of the car, went to his back trunk, opened his back trunk, opened a red toolbox, and that’s when he had a knife,” recalled McCain, whose vehicle was sideswiped in the incident.
Moreno allegedly jumped on one driver’s windshield, inflicting $500 in damage. Another driver attempted to intervene, equipping himself with a metal pipe. He was later stabbed in the stomach and ear.
A passing car attempted to pick up the stabbed victim and transport him to the hospital but was pursued by Moreno, who allegedly seized a nearby TxDOT truck.
Moreno then reportedly drove the same truck to run over the TxDOT employee, who suffered leg, knee, and wrist injuries, authorities said. “And once he got inside the TxDOT truck, he came through and smacked this side before veering off. “And that’s when he hit the TxDOT worker himself.
When a nearby medical professional exited her vehicle to care for the injured TxDOT employee, Moreno allegedly leaped into the unoccupied vehicle.
He then allegedly ran over the medical professional with her vehicle, dragging her over two lanes of traffic.
Another witness later approached Moreno and attempted to get into the automobile to turn off the vehicle he was driving, investigators said. McCain claimed Moreno attempted to flee, but many people were able to apprehend the 26-year-old before police arrived.

Moreno was detained on accusations of aggravated assault, illegal use of a vehicle, and criminal mischief. He was eventually sent to the Dallas County Jail.
Fox News Digital contacted Dallas police for additional information, but they did not immediately respond.
Public records do not suggest that Moreno has any criminal past.
