ROCKVILLE, Ind. – A 17-year-old teenager was taken into custody Tuesday morning following a months-long investigation into the distribution of child pornography, according to a Rockville Police Department social media post.
At roughly 7:58 a.m. on Tuesday, officers from the Rockville Police Department, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Indiana State Police, and other members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce searched a property near Beechwood Park in Rockville.

Following a months-long investigation into the alleged distribution of child pornography, the home was searched and an arrest warrant was issued.
According to the post, several people were inside the home but were eventually removed for the “safety of all parties involved.” A suspect, described in the post as a 17-year-old juvenile guy, was found at a nearby petrol station.
Officials stated that all persons in the home were questioned on the scene but were freed following the inquiry. The suspect was eventually taken to Parke County Jail.
