A woman from New Jersey has been charged with murder after the bodies of four dead kittens were discovered inside her freezer. Following the shocking revelation that was revealed on Monday, Nancy Santos was taken into custody and charged with 43 charges of animal abuse.

After receiving accusations that multiple animals were living in cruel conditions at her home on Cresson Avenue, the 57-year-old woman from Galloway became the focus of an investigation that is still ongoing since the police got those reports.

Humane Law Enforcement Officers from the Galloway Township Police Department conducted a search warrant on the premises, where they discovered four dead kittens, two dead adult dogs, and one dead adult cat. All of them had been stored inside of a freezer.

It was possible to save seven dogs and 29 cats from the shelter. Police stated that they “remain committed to investigating any report of animal cruelty”. At the same time, Santos was being held in custody at the Atlantic County Justice Facility for a future court date as per irishstar.
