LOUISVILLE, Ky.– A woman who was suspected of killing her 5-year-old son and placing his body in a suitcase has lost a judicial battle.

A judge dismissed Dejaune Anderson’s May lawsuit against Washington County Clerk Stephanie Rockey. Anderson sued Rockey, claiming she mishandled her case, committed fraud, and withheld court documents.

The judge dismissed the lawsuit and denied her additional requests, including a new judge.

Anderson has been incarcerated in the Washington County Detention Center since March, when she was arrested on a murder warrant in Arcadia, California, just outside of Los Angeles, after fleeing for over two years. Since her initial court appearance, when she said her name was “princess” and that she was “representing the entity” of Anderson, she has fought to represent herself.

In addition to the murder accusation against her son, Cairo Jordan, she was charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death and obstructing justice.

In April, Washington County Circuit Judge Larry Medlock requested a mental evaluation of Anderson to establish her competency to stand trial on those allegations.

That order followed Anderson’s weird initial court appearance on April 2, during which she made some bizarre comments to Medlock, including claiming she was under FBI surveillance. She also gave the judge an alias, stated that she intended to represent herself in the case, and claimed that a Space Force military detail had been following her everywhere she went.

According to WDRB, Anderson is the second lady charged with her son’s death. Dawn Coleman pleaded guilty in November 2023. She is serving a 30-year sentence.
