Despite getting charged with sexual assault in Nevada, a state representative from Hancock County is currently being held at a local jail in anticipation of his extradition to Las Vegas.

During the time that an out-of-state entity is facing charges and conducting an active investigation, the commissioners will refrain from making any comments, as they do not have a lot of information surrounding the reason for the arrest, according to Spalding. “The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will be the recipient of any and all additional inquiries,”
In the state of Nevada, Jessup was charged with sexual assault on June 11th, according to the documents that were submitted in it. Jessup is facing a felony charge, and FOX59 has reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County courts for additional information.
